Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker

Are you an experienced residential childcare worker that wants to work amongst a team of totally dedicated professionals that strive only for the highest possible outcomes for our young people?

You will be hard working, loyal, and understand that only outstanding results for all our young people is the acceptable standard. You will need to demonstrate tenacity, patience, resilience, be full of energy and be able to exhibit compassion while holding firm boundaries.

You will be responsible for supporting young people in their daily needs, ensuring that the highest standards of care are met regarding each young person’s physical, behavioural, and emotional needs. The role will include being responsible for leading the shift, assisting with rotas, health, and safety, attending meetings, submitting reports and being part of the On Call rota.

For this position you will need:

· Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare

· Have experience of working with 10 – 17-year-olds in a residential setting along with achieving successful Ofsted inspection results.

· To be emotionally resilient with a passion to achieve outstanding outcomes for our young people.

· Have a hands-on approach to the working environment with the ability to both manage up and interact positively with young people.

· Have excellent presentation and report writing skills, be a passionate, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual who measures their successes by the number of young people they work with having positive outcomes.

· Be extremely flexible, totally committed, be a staff motivator and have an incredible sense of humour.

· To be over 21

· To be able to drive

· To be able to commit to the shift pattern of 3 days a week for two weeks including some sleep ins, followed by one day in a week for one week (typically called 3, 3, 1, 3 shifts)
