Days of work - Monday-Sunday

Term Time - Monday-Friday 4.30pm-8pm

                      Saturday & Sunday 8am-8pm & 8pm-8am

Enviva, part of the Sonderwell Group is looking for Paediatric Complex Care Assistants in the Peacehaven area.

We have a robust and in-depth onboarding process whereas a new employee, you’ll first complete your training and paid induction. As part of your induction, you will shadow another member of your team. This helps you understand your new role and get to know people in your team. 

Your colleagues and management team will work with you during your induction to help you put your training into practice and answer any questions you may have. You’ll start building your own support network from day one – this will include your management team, colleagues and departments sonderwell Group.

 

You will be spending your time with our client within their own home where you will be supporting with their daily routine.

They were born premature and suffered a lack of oxygen to the brain which resulted in severe damage to the cells in their central nervous system. 
They present with complex Neurodisability and four limb cerebral palsy, with dystonia. They have sleep difficulties, respiratory difficulties, dysphagia, epilepsy and eosinophilic colitis (inflammation of the oesophagus). 

Please be aware there are pet cats within the property.

Your day-to-day activities may include & experience we are looking for:

  • PEG Feeding
  • Medication Administration
  • Oral suctioning
  • Seizure Management
  • Paediatric experience
